When it comes to being a shoe gal, I’m always on the hunt for not just aesthetic and design, but most importantly, lasting comfort. Who wants to walk around in pain all day long?! naomi black suede

This platform shoe featuring a softly squared toe shape and flared block heel was inspired by 90s silhouettes. I love the sophisticated look and held-on feel of generous strap coverage. The custom designed insole cradles the foot and provides support for hours of wear. The Naomi in black suede is so beautiful, works great for any look, casual or non-casual.

ALTA DEEP RED SUEDE

The clean lines and classic silhouette of a pointy toe pump are further refined by a plush proprietary insole. The deep red shade and suede texture make the heel timeless yet contemporary. In this particular year, I bet many are not very interested in wearing any kind of heels at the moment. We’re all stuck at home, and while many of us are piling on the comfies - fuzzy slippers, flats, just some socks, perhaps sans shoes and just going barefoot but why not mix things up from time to time? Like makeup, I use it as a tool to feel good and to do better. When I’m dressed like a slob, I don’t feel as productive when I do have a look put together. Nothing extreme, but yes, a little goes a long way. So the next time you’re loading up the dishwasher or having a zoom call, throw caution to the wind and wear your favorite heels! STRAPPY KITTEN HEELS

The Mika kitten heel features strappy front detail with a mid height heel at 2.5 inches. The perfect day to night heel you need! I love wearing them with jeans, skirts, dresses, pretty much everything! They’re very comfortable and definitely spruce up any outfit! I also really love the square toe fitting - really makes the shoe.

FISHNET STILETTO HEELS

The Anabela features a fishnet material, stiletto heel, gold chain detail and statement square toe. With a 3.5 inch heel, these baddies are most certainly edgy and chic. As Carrie Bradshaw once said, “I’m very, very comfortable in heels. The higher the better.” I definitely think our shoe gal would have approved of these.

FEATHER LACE UP STILETTO HEELS

The Fifi features a high stiletto heel with a lace up ankle strap and heel feather detailing. These are super cute and the perfect pair for any weekend look. I like to dress them up or down, but they look great with a cocktail dress! Definitely would wear them on a date night!

HEELED MULES

The Harlow features a PU mule upper, square toe and statement stiletto heel. The height of the heel is 3.5 inches, but this heeled mule is super comfy! Super great to run errands and work in. I definitely love to slip these cuties on before a conference call. They make me feel empowered and stylish at the same time!

Peplum Midi Dress

Happy Monday! Starting the week in one of my new favorite dresses that’ll definitely be worn through the fall season! It’s everything that is trending; in terms of pattern, color and cut - it’s the dress that keeps giving. It’s the perfect attire for an evening meeting or an event where the dress code is not casual and you don’t want to show up in jeans. A fresh and modern look that's the personification of elegance: the peplum midi dress from Who What Wear™. Perfectly proportioned sleeves are echoed in the extra-deep ruffled peplum hemline; an eye-catching angled geometric pattern adds the must-have hue of the year. I cinched my waist with an embossed belt to give a stronger silhouette. You can wear this dress with a blazer/jacket, and even layering in in the fall with a cool cape/vest or black long-sleeved top underneath.

To give me some height, I wore my favorite pair of black mary janes. They are made in Korea by a really chic shoe brand called Lower. The top handle bag goes well with the shoes, and the belt is a deep navy blue, which brings contrast to the overall black within the accessories. Lastly, I styled this look with big statement earrings. I did not list them, they’re from H&M but cannot find them online nor could I find similar looking ones. Thanks for stopping by! Leopard Print for Date Night

Friday calls for date night! Summer is heating up and it is one of my favorite seasons for this. Days are long and nights are balmy, it’s the perfect time to spend that extra time with your boo. But what to wear on such a hot occasion? In today’s post, I’ve got a fun number for ya. Sultry, trendy yet super comfy, I’ve got the perfect summer date night look! This leopard print matching set is the fountain of sexiness. The bodycon skirt and crop cami top is extremely flattering for many body types, as the material is stretchy. This screamed date night look to me, but as much as I styled it for a night on the town, you can easily wear this during the day as well with a pair of sneakers. I love two-piece outfits such as this one because you can mix and match for other looks. I’d wear that crop top with a nice black power suit or the skirt with a simple white tee - there’s a lot of different outfits that can be styled from this set.

Because it’s so hot out, I love to wear my hair back. Especially on those extra humid days in the city where anyone’s hair is a lost cause, it’s the perfect excuse to whip out those hair accessories! I wore this beautiful pearl hair clip by Atelier des Femmes with black drugstore hair clips to give my hairstyle a bit of variation. What do you guys think of the combination? When I think of leopard print for date night, this must include more black accessories and a bold lip.

These black strappy sandals I’m wearing in today’s post are pretty ancient. They are the first pair of heels I wore to a wedding, where it was also the first time a boyfriend had invited me to one. The experience was not so great, but these sandals lasted way longer than the boyfriend! Ha ha! They’re no longer in stock and NO I’m not going to tell you how long ago this was so you can start guestimating my age LOL - but I’ve linked similar pairs for you to choose from. Taking notes from '90s styles, this sandal is distinguished by skinny, elegant straps and a dainty squared kitten heel.

Even though it’s hot outside, it can get chilly inside. Which is why I stole this jacket from the hubby. A sleek tuxedo jacket by Calvin Klein goes well with the heels.
