Hi, everyone! How was your weekend? Hopefully it included a lot of fun and snuggles during this fall weather! And perhaps some pumpkin-spiced anything lolol. In today’s post, I’m sharing my latest favorite print - one that’s been around for ages, but is still such a versatile fall/winter print, and can you believe it… I’ve never had this in my closet?! It is definitely trending and comes in a variety of sorts, but I’m only styling accessories today, especially your girl’s ultimate fall staple, a classic bootie! What can I say… Autumn in New York is the look of love. It is my favorite season for a million reasons. Fall fashion is no exception when it comes to staples: Outwear, handbags, denim and yes, ankle booties. And I think one of the fall must-haves every girl should have in her closet are a great pair of snake print booties. The ones featured in today’s post are from Public Desire - a UK-based shoe brand that I absolutely adore, are super sleek pointed ankle boots featuring exposed zip and a sock style fit. Frayed hem denim and an oversized striped shirt or black sweater keep this look fresh. The heel height is 4.5”, which is a bit on the high side for some, but that extra half inch for petite women such as myself go a long way.  

I couldn’t resist but style the snake print booties with a similar print when it came to my handbag, but the trick is that it’s not the exact same print. Undeniably feminine, strong, and chic, the Ladybird clutch has a roomy triple gusset construction and a large interior hidden zip pocket, with plenty of space for all of your fall necessities. Wear crossbody by the detachable leather and chain shoulder strap, or carry as a clutch. I’m a fan of contrast and I think the hints of green from the bag go well with the olive-green scarf and apricot coat. MaQ doesn’t hurt the photos haha - isn’t he such a handsome stud? I spent last Friday evening with Who What Wear™ at the amazing office/event space, Neuehouse, here in New York, where a conversation with panelists Danielle Yacobovsky, Co-Founder of BaubleBar, Wendy Nguyen from Wendy's Lookbook, and Marianna Hewitt from Life with Me, was the highlight of the night. What do you guys think of this layered outfit? I didn't think I'd be warm enough outdoors due to the lining of the parka, but with the wool, it was a real saver! Happy Friday! It's been a long and crazy week and I've been working on overdrive... sleeping at the bare minimum but it's all good. I'm always aiming for more and continue to keep trying, which can never be a bad thing, so hopefully sooner rather than later I'll have some news to share with you that I've been dying to show you guys! The waiting game is the hardest part and I don't really want to say that much (because I always jinx it when I do) so just keep those fingers (and perhaps, toes) crossed for me! Today's post is on the easily wearable summer rompers, but because I'm a gal who likes to make the most out of her wardrobe, I wanted to style and layer a romper differently but one that is transitional for the fall season as well! Want to see how you can wear a good pair of boyfriend jeans with a romper? I know it may sound a bit strange at first, but come take a look! It's a bit of a mix with Western style and rocker chic, fun trends I enjoy playing around with. 

I've styled this romper this past spring (you can check out the post here), but all on its own. This time I wanted to wear it differently, and though initially, I wanted to go with a long, black maxi skirt, the romper looked a bit too 'poofy' under the skirt. I then tried it with a pair of oversized boyfriend jeans from Vagabond Honey and even though it took me a minute to adjust to what felt like wearing a diaper (LMAO), I got used to it especially after seeing how cute the pairing looked! The added detail that I'm obsessed with? I love how the romper adds a 'patched' layer to the top cut out of the jeans. You can never have enough gingham print, am I right? ;)

Not only is the romper from Zaful, so are these gorgeous deep red tassel earrings! I love how they give any outfit an extra bold statement and because the color palette is quite minimal in this look, I knew these earrings would bring the perfect pop of color. And I love the jeweled detail within the earrings too, that gives it a little more sophistication to them. The sock ankle boots are from Forever 21 - I'm completely smitten with these shoes! They're super well-fitted and that clear chunky low heel makes running around town in them fun and comfy! Lastly, the fringe bucket bag is from Alles Bags. Have a great weekend, everyone!
