In this particular year, I bet many are not very interested in wearing any kind of heels at the moment. We’re all stuck at home, and while many of us are piling on the comfies - fuzzy slippers, flats, just some socks, perhaps sans shoes and just going barefoot but why not mix things up from time to time? Like makeup, I use it as a tool to feel good and to do better. When I’m dressed like a slob, I don’t feel as productive when I do have a look put together. STRAPPY KITTEN HEELS

The Mika kitten heel features strappy front detail with a mid height heel at 2.5 inches. The perfect day to night heel you need! I love wearing them with jeans, skirts, dresses, pretty much everything! They’re very comfortable and definitely spruce up any outfit! I also really love the square toe fitting - really makes the shoe.

FISHNET STILETTO HEELS

The Anabela features a fishnet material, stiletto heel, gold chain detail and statement square toe. With a 3.5 inch heel, these baddies are most certainly edgy and chic. As Carrie Bradshaw once said, “I’m very, very comfortable in heels. The higher the better.” I definitely think our shoe gal would have approved of these.

FEATHER LACE UP STILETTO HEELS

The Fifi features a high stiletto heel with a lace up ankle strap and heel feather detailing. These are super cute and the perfect pair for any weekend look. I like to dress them up or down, but they look great with a cocktail dress! Definitely would wear them on a date night!

HEELED MULES

The Harlow features a PU mule upper, square toe and statement stiletto heel. The height of the heel is 3.5 inches, but this heeled mule is super comfy! Super great to run errands and work in. I definitely love to slip these cuties on before a conference call. They make me feel empowered and stylish at the same time!

It is bomber jacket season (okay well, to me, it's always bomber jacket season due to my obsession with 'em) and in today's post, I'm showing you three ways to wear them! What's great about bomber jackets is their versatility - clothing that is easily adaptable is one staple in my closet, amongst other factors such as durability and comfort. And these kinds of jackets are made in all sorts of ways from satin to embroidery and even leather. They are a hot-hot spring trend to have this season and I'm showing you three different jackets that offer a stylish twist on a classic item.

For look one, I went all for empowerment. Girl Power. Case in Point: Proud Feminist. I've had this UO satin bomber since last spring but its quilted comfiness and killer floral embroidery has kept me continuing to wear it throughout several seasons. To maintain a downtown cool and casual chic vibe, I wore my favorite distressed jeans by Vagabond Honey and a sassy blush pair of Franco Sarto oxfords. Wearing a bomber jacket in any casual look can bring a slight edge without going too overboard.

In look two, fierceness is the word! And Korean pride, y'all! I've been looking for a killer Korean-styled bomber jacket for years, but never had one pull at my heart strings like this one from Forever 21! The second I laid eyes on this vision in red, I knew it had to be mine! I kept it true to my roots and wore my favorite basketball team's shirt, the one, and only Los Angeles Lakers! Fun fact: I have this ridic fantasy that if I ever make it big I'm going to sit courtside right next to Jack Nicholson and be at every home game just like him! Ha ha ha! As for my roots, I was born in California. To keep the outfit on the edgy side, I wore a high slit skirt, a western-styled turquoise belt, and old school Stan's. I wanted to keep it pretty LA street style, maintaining my background within this look. You guys, like? :)

Last but not least, look three is all about that sexy vibe us girls feel from time to time. Some more than others because I'm not one to dress up in racy outfits every day, but in some instances, I feel like showing a little more skin or wearing heels. My most recent and latest bomber obsession is this evil eye varsity jacket from Jocelyn. You can find this jacket at Olive & Bette's here in New York or online. The last evil eye I had in my wardrobe was a necklace and because it was so delicate and I'm accident-prone, it eventually broke (enter sad face). I've been looking for a piece for some time just like the Korean bomber jacket, but I never add anything to my collection anymore unless I'm completely and absolutely in love with it. Otherwise, what's the point? (In my opinion.) To keep this look fresh yet cute, I accessorized with a pair of bell bottom crop jeans, a teeny-tiny coin purse, and kitten heels.

Happy Thursday, loves! I'm so excited to share with you my new spring trench coat by Karoline Lang! Reasons I love this trench coat so much: One, the double collar is so chic and brings added texture along with layers for days not so spring-y. Two, the color is phenomenal. One of my all-time favorite blue hues, periwinkle is such a lovely subdued color. It's definitely trending this coming spring season. Three, it fit me like a glove!

I love discovering designers, especially one with clothes that complement my petite frame. I styled the trench coat with Nine West plaid pants as I loved how each pattern from the pants and also the double collar of the coat suited each other. Another fabulous and comfy trend for spring – a low heel. The lower the better. Don't get me wrong, I have a few sky-high pairs of what some might call heels (:::giggles:::) but being comfortable results in feeling confident, thus looking and feeling great. Plus, I'm a walker, no not the zombie-type, but city dweller. It's my form of relaxation these days, and I Iove nothing more than taking a stroll with MaQ to clear my head. The sights and sounds of the city always bring me inspiration and comfort. I love my home.

I picked out this gorgeous Ann Taylor LOFT dress with a pair of Bandolino kitten heels, specifically for an Audrey Hepburn inspired-look. To me, she was the epitome of style & grace, so I wanted to do a play-up on her and of course, the famous outfit from the movie, Breakfast at Tiffany's. I really wanted to demonstrate that you can wear secondhand pieces and still look like a movie star! Actual retail price of this look? UNDER $40! I saved 75%, (over $115) on these two items, but I feel like a million bucks in 'em!

What you can also do to snazz up a look is to accessorize it with a nice bag or a couple pieces of jewelry. In this case, I wore a pair of my mother's vintage earrings and an elegant clutch purse from Forever 21. You see?! I bet you didn't think that's where that bag was from when you first took a look at it. Point proven again.
