First and foremost, my heart goes out to Ohio State University this morning. Thoughts & prayers to all involved in yet another shooting in America. I don't know when the madness will stop, but we are with you today & always. Ugh, it just makes me sick to my stomach typing this while I overhear the news from the tv in the background. And right after Thanksgiving. Just heart-wrenching.

With the climate now taking serious change, we can kiss those warm, balmy nights goodbye! If only temporarily, especially in New York. The cold, dry air during the winter time wrecks such havoc to my skin! My face is super sensitive so it doesn't react well around this time of year. That's why I've teamed up with Pour Moi Beauty, the first climate based skincare system where your skin consistently stays hydrated through the different seasons and places of the world. PMB is the new top line you'll want to try out, specifically to all my wanderlusts who are addicted to traveling! Let me share with you a little more on some of the products I've been trying recently.

1. HYDRATING BALANCER

This innovative light pink translucent lotion makes the skin feel instantly comfortable and soft. A sophisticated hybrid between a liquid moisturizer and a gentle toner, this lotion serves dual purposes. It clears the skin from any irritators left on the skin, helps minimize pore size, moisturizes, evens out skin tone, and firms & tones the skin.

2. THE SERUMS / WHITE X BLACK

The SERUM white is a silky white lotion with its fresh texture and its lightweight feel, leaves an invisible but protective film on the skin to help balance negative skin responses from climate and environmental aggressors.

The SERUM black is a stunningly beautiful black texture of the Serum melts in transparency on the skin. Highly concentrated in restoring, moisturizing and brightening active ingredients, this high-performing Serum contributes to regenerating and stimulating skin. Specially designed for mature or very dry skin. And a personal fav. :)

3. NIGHT CREAM

The supple and creamy texture of the night cream brings a total skin well-being. Their customized day and night moisturizing creams work synergistically; delivering the perfect balance of nourishment for a smooth and healthy skin whatever your age. And the smell is intoxicating to fall asleep with!

4. CLIMATE DAY CREAMS

The desert day cream is specially formulated for skin in desert climate which is hot and dry air. This light yellow Day Cream instantly seals the skin's surface against dry air while preventing additional water loss inside the skin.

The polar day cream is specially formulated for skin in cold climate which is cold and dry air. This light green Day Cream helps the skin not just to protect itself but also promotes skin healing in that challenging (and freezing) climate.

The temperate day cream is specially formulated for skin in mild climate which is normal and mild air. This light pink Day Cream helps skin to relax and thrive in this idyllic climate protecting skin against other environmental aggressions such as pollution. This one is perfect during fall!

The tropical day cream is specially formulated in humid climate which has hot and humid air. This light blue Day Cream has a very light texture and its advanced ingredients and beauty technology encourages skin to draw moisture from air into skin while other ingredients help the skin to cool down.

5. DANIEL WELLINGTON BLACK LEATHER WRISTBAND WATCH

Made from genuine Italian calf leather this classic 40mm Daniel Wellington watch is sleek with minimal chic style. I've been wearing it nonstop as it's perfect for everyday wear! I think watches are also great holiday gifts so use my code 'SUZANNE_DW' for 15% off your purchase!

6. DANIEL WELLINGTON SILVER CUFF

The silver cuff is the perfect matching accessory to go with the watch. You'll have your wrist blinging out in no time! It's delicateness is beautifully crafted with an engraved 'Daniel Wellington' logo in the center. I love pairing them together because I think they complement each other well.

The last three essentials have been white nail polish, silver stacked rings and naughty Japanese photography by the wonderful Araki. One of the only nail polishes I trust is Essie. It's high-quality and fast drying polish always keeps me coming back for me! My new fave this winter season is definitely the blanc color. I think my favorite Christmas colors are white and silver, then red and green. :)

We've got some fun, casual and funky, holiday looks coming up on the blog! What's your favorite colors to wear around this season? We'd love to hear from you in the comments down below. Have a great week and we'll see you guys soon!

Neutrals with Black Satin, Velvet and Blues

This post is sponsored by Oliver Bilou & Ego Official. All opinions are my own.

Fall staples this season in my wardrobe are definitely neutrals, black satin, velvet and blue tones! I'm not one of those girls that wears one piece once and that's the end of it. I like to economize. I like to get creative. AND I love to take risks and give fashion a play on its seriousness. Such as the ultra-trending 90s comeback. I even went to an pop-up event last night in the city that solely had collector items from this time period! The 90s Forever store was filled with vintage items from the 1990s bringing a nostalgic set of rare goodies ranging from all sorts of clothes to toys. I found a dope-ass burgundy velvet slip dress (you can get a sneak peek of it on my Snapchat/InstaStories) that I can't wait to style!

Velvet is really in right now and for all the right reasons. It's plush, fun and versatile. My newfound obsession is these rich purple velvet ankle boots from Ego Official. Aren't they bomb?! I love the luxurious feel without them being too over the top or gimmicky. It can elevate any simple outfit with its pop of color and chic look. I literally can't stop wearing them, on top of how great they look the ankle boots are extremely comfortable to wear while running around town all day. On average, I walk about 4-5 miles everyday so I'm not a frequent 5+ inch high-heel wearer. I gotta get that cardio in somehow... thanks MaQ! ;)

Blue complements with purple well. And this Oliver Bilou Amy bag goes perfectly with my purple velvet ankle boots. I love the vibrant royal blue hue as well as the quality of the bag. Only $100 bucks! When I received it in the mail, the packaging was flawless. It even came with a purse dust cover which is always a plus for me. Keeps the bags in top shape. The tassels and zips of the bag bring a playful twist on its classic structure, and I love the side pocket that can easily fit a cell phone or small wallet. Oliver Bilou also has other differently styled handbags such as a hot pink one and a sleek black with rose gold bag. Check out the purses at their site and use my coupon code, 'suzannespiegoski' to get 10% off your purchase.

I styled chunky wooden bangles with a camel turtleneck sweater both from H&M. The drawstring of the black satin dress from Theory is supposed to be tied around the neck as it has short sleeves, but I improvised and wrapped it around to give it a sleeveless look. The result also gave me pockets and the added detail from the drawstring finessed the entire outfit. Lastly, my gold hoop earrings are from Argento Vivo. You can shop similar products down below. Thank Goodness it's almost Friday! I've had quite a crazy week filled with technical difficulties such as code developing mishaps, learning more about the world of videography and then some! This week, along with the look of the day, I'm also sharing my first directed video for MaQ + Suz! Here you'll get a glimpse of our everyday lives with a mix of fashion and style along the way! And if you're a dog lover like myself, there's a whole lotta German Shepherd in the video! We will be posting more of videos on our YouTube Channel weekly. Click here or down below to view the entire video! I'd love to hear what you guys think! What would you like to see more of?

Today's outfit is monochrome and minimal. My kind of everyday style. My white cropped top and black flowing skirt are from Zara, as well as the ballerina flats. I love these for spring. They're definitely trending this season! My Gucci bag is from Purses for Nurses (obsessed with the bamboo handle) and my daily coat as of late is from Assembly New York.

Looking forward to this weekend! I'll be posting a new cocktail recipe then. I know I'll be having a few! Ha ha! Stay tuned! Don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel and shop the look! Thanks for your continued love and support! Enjoy the rest of your day. πŸ’•

Soft Toughness

WEARING: FOREVER 21 FAUX LEATHER BOMBER JACKET |
VINTAGE BLACK & WHITE FLORAL PRINT CHOKER BLOUSE |
J BRAND JEANS MID-RISE SKINNY BLACK |
SEPCOEUR PARIS SUEDE DRAWSTRING BAG | VERSACE BY H&M GOLD FLOWER RING |
GUESS CARRIE BLACK SATIN PUMPS

Spring has sprung - well, sort of. The funky, somewhere in between winter and spring weather has got me bundling up in layers one day, and then strippin' 'em off the next! So, in tune with this unsteady climate, I wanted to incorporate a big trend, and one of my all-time favorite ways to style, the soft and the toughness together. I always find the combination of soft, feminine pieces with hard rock -n- roll textures and shapes to be quite interesting. A superb example? Check out ChloΓ©'s SS16 runway show from PFW. Perfect representation of this.

For this look, I paired up a vintage choker blouse I've had in my closet for years with a high-ponytail. I curled my hair to give it extra bounce to bring out the dancing playfulness from the blouse. To enhance the feminine pieces, I added a bangle from Express, vintage earrings, and a gold flower ring from Versace by H & M (on top with my engagement ring and wedding band). I also kept my makeup light and fresh to stay with the romantic yet free-spirited feel of the entire outfit.

As for the toughness, I had to go with my favorite faux leather bomber jacket from Forever 21. I don't shop as much there now that I'm getting older, but I still hold a few pieces, near and dear to me, through the years. They do have some decent stuff! More black on black means my go-to J Brand skinny jeans with my wedding shoes! Yes, you read that correct! I know some women solely pick out their dream shoes for when they get married only to wear it once. And that's totally cool! But I'm sentimental and I like to wear things that remind me of who I am and where I started from. You see that red Fender guitar pick on the sole of one of my Guess pumps? It belonged to my father. Since he could not be at our wedding because of his passing, I, of course, had to carry something that I knew was very important to him. And that was his guitar playing every day. When I wear these shoes, I feel like I'm marching on to the beat of his drum - or rather, his music. He always used to say, "keep on keeping on". 🎢

Lastly, I want to tell you about an amazing not-for-profit organization I will be collaborating with, that's paving their way in helping everyone have access to healthcare! How can you help pay for the trips of volunteer nurses IN FULL to impoverished countries around the world and at the same time not feel guilty about owning a designer handbag? By re-selling your donated purses to Purses for Nurses! It's that simple! You can either donate your purses OR you can purchase a gorgeous designer purse and all proceeds go to aiding in better healthcare to all. The Sep Coeur Paris drawstring bag from this look is from them! They've got Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Burberry, Gucci, Kate Spade and more! Please go check them out here now!

Coming up this week on the blog, a full recipe post on those sesame broccoli bites AND another post on my very first Korean-inspired cocktail recipe! Stay tuned... you'll definitely won't want to miss out on these! 😊❀️
