It's that time of the month again! My roundabout of monthly beauty favorites, the November edition, is now live on the blog! We've got a cannabis candle that provides a natural aprhodisia, the most luxurious lip balm, a body scrub that looks like it's a smoothie, the most-insanely delicious scent of coconutty body wash goodness, a couple of YSL Beauty must-haves, and a new favorite organic serum that will bounce back that elasticity in no time. From your best girl to the biggest beauty junkie guru, these faves are fantastic holiday stocking stuffers, some unisex which is always a plus when it comes to the shopping madness (I mean, two birds, one stone sometimes, am I right? Ha ha!), but they're also great gifts to give to yourself too! 1. MALIN & GOETZ CANNABIS VOTIVE

A customer favorite (which I can attest to why), is one of Malin & Goetz's best-selling candles with its spicy, herbaceous scent. Top notes of fresh lemon and orange mingle with middle notes of fig and pepper. Base notes of oakmoss, sandalwood, amber and patchouli create a bold and refined, long-lasting aroma that fills a space. The candle’s natural wax blend provides a clean burn for up to 25 hours. Did I mention the general aphrodisia that is provided? I mean... on top of smelling good. ;)

2. MALIN & GOETZ CANNABIS HAND & BODY WASH

Whether at the sink or in the shower, this cannabis hand and body wash delivers a delightfully aromatic experience and thoroughly gentle cleanse. Combining amino acid technology with their spicy cannabis fragrance, this naturally foaming gel purifies, hydrates and balances without drying skin so it’s clean, soft and beautifully scented.

3. EMILE CORDON N0.1 LISA LIP POT

This is probably one of the most luxurious lip balms I've used. An ultra-rich lip treatment housed in a lovingly glass jar that softens, plumps and beautifies lips while delivering a glossy finish and a specially blended scent, I love that this balm can be used more than just on your lips. Secret uses are under the lips, highlighting the cheekbones, taming eyebrows and even an eyeshadow base for dewy eyes! 

4. FYTT HIT RESTART DETOXIFYING BODY SCRUB TREATMENT

This Detoxing Body and Facial scrub is the best! The ingredients are all natural and organic (for example) Kale, Spinach, Spirulina, Cucumber, and so many more. My skin felt so soft and awake after one use. The amount of exfoliation is just the right amount, it didn't irritate or damage my skin. There are traces of spearmint, leaving this cool minty refreshing feeling, perfect for mornings or after a workout. 

5. INTELLIGENT NUTRIENTS RENEWING OIL SERUM

Recovers and revives. Removes the red, relights the brightness, plumps to unline and firm, and makes elasticity bounce back for a what-did-you-do-differently radiance. I recently went to the Intelligent Nutrients NYC Flagship store for a complete, thorough facial. This is where I was introduced to this serum and let me tell you, it's one of the best serums I've tried this year! A definite must-have this winter season. 

6. SOAPBOX COCONUT MILK & SANDALWOOD DEEP MOISTURE BODY WASH

Give yourself a deep moisturizing experience with this coconut and sandalwood body wash. This shea butter and olive oil blended formula not only seals in moisture, but also contains coconut oil to intensify your hydrating wash. Coconut oil, rich in vitamins E,K and fatty acids, is highly acclaimed for its nourishing and repairing properties and will leave your skin at its softest. The rich scent of sandalwood blended with the natural sweetness of coconut will bloom a relaxing aroma in your shower with every use.

7. YSL BEAUTY ALL HOURS CONCEALER

The best concealer that I've recently tried, the All Hours Concealer instantly blurs and erases imperfections including dark circles, bags, redness, hyperpigmentation, broken capillaries, age spots, and discoloration. This advanced 16-hour formula won’t cake, crease, or fade nor will it accentuate the look of fine lines and wrinkles. The highly concentrated, flexible pigments move with you to provide a highly workable and blendable texture that stands up to makeup meltdowns and resists fading, heat, humidity, and touch. The ultra-smooth, creamy matte finish looks just-applied all day. No touch-ups required. 

8. YSL ÉCLAT GLOW SHOT IN SUNRISE

A liquid highlighter in shimmer tones to brighten the  complexion for a radiant, dewy glow from daylight to sunset. The YSL Glow Shots allow you to choose your highlight intensity. I picked the sunrise color as it is best on deeper skin tones, so it's fun to play around with it for contour and/or highlight depending on the day. This is definitely one of my favorite products from YSL Beauty.

9. TRACIE MARTYN AMIA PURIFYING CLEANSER 

The Tracie Martyn Amla Purifying Cleanser is a potent serum that works to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, leaving the skin free from impurities and imperfections. When I tried this cleanser at the show, I was blown away how purifying my hand look after just one cleanse! And this was just a sample on my hand! Imagine how great it felt to apply on the face! Definitely a top quality facial cleanser!

10. ELIXIR GOLD FOIL MASK

The Elixir golden mask is a unique product, created by the team of professional Korean and American cosmetologist. The mask consists of 100% natural high-quality ingredients. Running a little late on our regular Wednesday post but I've been running around all day from back-to-back meetings, editing and then some. Since I have a lot going on this month (redeveloping a website for a client on top of everything else) I decided to release my monthly beauty favorites a little bit earlier here in October. 1. LANCÔME DUAL FINISH MULTI-TASKING ILLUMINATING HIGHLIGHTER IN RADIANT ROSE GOLD

A dual-effect powder highlighter enhanced with light-reflecting pearls for a smooth, buildable glow, it is available in illuminating shades for all skin tones. This ultra-creamy powder highlighter melts into the skin for a brilliant highlight that doesn't cake. Its wet-dry technology allows for customized highlight and the ultimate versatility: use it dry for a subtle glow, or apply damp for a more intense result. The formula is infused with light-enhancing pearls to achieve that beautiful pearly glow. It's also infused with vitamin E and triglycerides for a non-drying formula that wears comfortably all day long. The lightweight texture applies smoothly and evenly for a second-skin feel, whether using a brush, sponge, or your fingers. Just wear it dry for a subtle highlight, or apply damp for more intense illumination. Ya know, that extra 'glow' achieved without really trying-look? ;)

2. DIOR HYDRA LIFE FRESH HYDRATION SORBET CREME

Which skin type is it good for? Normal Oily Combination. An ultra-fresh gel-creme that nurtures and invigorates the skin, it has left my skin looking and feeling moisturized, radiant, and plumped.  This ultra-fresh hydrating moisturizer is infused with natural ingredients, including French mallow flower and haberlea leaf to nurture the skin, support its natural moisturizing ability, and reinforce balance. The sorbet creme-gel texture offers a breathtaking refreshing effect, invigorating skin with long-lasting hydration. I use it every morning and night, but even sometimes just use this one its own when I'm having a makeup-free day. And I simply love its subtle scent!

3. DIOR 'DIORSHOW' BROW STYLER

Expert precision for a tailor-made result, Diorshow Brow Styler by Dior redefines, reshapes and fills out the eyebrow, offering high-definition makeup with a graphic yet natural result. Its single shade, Universal Brown, is adapted to work with all eyebrows. It features a retractable tip on one side for an ultra-precise line and a brush on the other side for easy blending. It's been my go-to brow filler nowadays - how chic is the packaging by the way?

4. KIEHL'S POWERFUL STRENGTH LINE-REDUCING CONCENTRATE

A personal favorite of mine since last winter when I first started using the concentrate, it is clinically-demonstrated to improve overall skin texture, tone and radiance while reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It also provides anti-oxidant protection and exfoliates skin to reveal healthier-looking skin. I solely apply it only my forehead and right in between my eyebrows where I have a small line formed from squinting too much ha ha! I know some of you might say I don't need to be using this product at the moment, but I like to think of it as a preventative from further wrinkles!

5. LANCÔME DRAMA LIQUI-PENCIL™ LONGWEAR EYELINER IN PARISIAN NIGHT

This eyeliner creates a smoky effect by smudging afterward immediately. An extreme, long-wear, high-intensity color liquid-pencil eyeliner. This eyeliner has the high-intensity color of a liquid liner and the ease of application of a pencil. Glide on smooth color while giving eyes maximum color intensity and all-day wear. Featuring a creamy, instantly blendable formula, it sets quickly for 24-hour wear without budging or fading. Definitely worth your extra dollar for this high-quality eyeliner!

6. LANCÔME TRANSLUCENCE SILKY LOOSE POWDER IN 200

What it is: A loose powder that sets and perfects your makeup. What it does: It features a perfectly blended, innovative powder that absorbs oil and smoothes skin with a translucent matte finish and sumptuous satin touch. It lasts all day, giving coverage that is even and flawless and never chalky. How to use: Wear it alone or over your makeup. Touch-up throughout the day as needed. There's no need to worry about build-up either, but I use it over my makeup mostly to 'bake' in the rest.

Happy Hump Day, y'all! Yesterday's post I reflected on some of my personal favorites at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Today I'm sharing the Costume Institute’s Fall 2015 newest exhibition, Jacqueline de Ribes: The Art of Style, which focuses on the internationally renowned style icon Countess Jacqueline de Ribes. She is one of the most celebrated fashion personas of the 20th century. A designer herself, she was also a muse to many — and was quickly recognized as the quintessential of French style. She is a classic but modern – beauty, like Audrey Hepburn, whose elongated neck, refined profile and couture clothes were well known to fashionistas here in New York as well as Europe. Emilio Pucci called her “Giraffina,” or “baby giraffe”; Yves Saint Laurent called her “an ivory unicorn”; Oleg Cassini found her “elegant to the point of distraction”; and Valentino named her “the last Queen of Paris”. She eventually went professional in the 1980s after raising money on her own and was no longer held back by her aristocratic in-laws from pursuing her career, officially becoming a commercial designer. It is very clear from this exhibition that Jacqueline's taste and style were timeless as opposed to trendy. In fact, her clothes are so classic – whether she designed them or simply chose them from the couture houses of others, it’s hard differentiating which decade they were made. I guarantee you, you could step into any of her clothes and feel magnificently dressed. The exhibition is on view in The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Anna Wintour Costume Center until February 21, 2016. If you're at all into fashion, this is a must-see! Now let's go take a look inside! Tuesday: Beauty Essentials

Today we're talking more about my everyday beauty products. From skin care to perfume, here is a list of my regular go-to beauty essential must-haves.

1. The Body Shop Tea Tree Cleansing Wipes & Flawless BB Cream 02 Medium

The tea tree oil line has me officially addicted! I love the combination and that they're portable. The face wipes always leave my face feeling refreshed and renewed. The BB cream has my skin feeling light while looking all-natural and luminous. A definite everyday make-up.

2. Essie Nail Polish | Color Devil's Advocate

I'm definitely not a 'girly-girl' and you'll rarely see me wear pink, let alone nail polish. If I want to spruce up my nails for a night on the town, this is my favorite color from Essie. Their nail polish comes in so many different colors and the quality never disappoints.

3. YSL Lipstick | Color Rouge Volupté

First of all, I love the little sneak mirror on the bottom of the lipstick. So convenient for a quick retouch while on the go. It's deep color can be put on lightly, mixed in with another color, or set richly on its own with it's sensual, moody tone. It's creamy texture and lasting scent are also big bonus points.

4. Fresh Brown Sugar Body Cream

I use this lotion in every season. It leaves my skin soft and supple. I love it's airiness- sometimes other lotions are so gunky. And you'll really smell like brown sugar. Mmmmm...

5. Chanel N°5 Perfume

 One of my favorite scents, it is extremely feminine and classic. With an addictive personality and the nose of a Bloodhound, I do get tired of wearing the same perfume all the time and like to switch it up to Givenchy, or sometimes if feeling a bit more floral, Dior.
