Got a case of the Monday Blues? Fear no more! This dress will kick any start of the week's ass! It's really great for summer as the material is thin and super breathable for even those hot summer nights! As usual, I love to do mix-plays on styles, combining them together and making them work! So in today's post, I'm combining this very bohemian blue floral dress with some of my more edgier staple pieces in my accessories. Think biker chic mixed with the boho! My blogger babes will relate to this. Ever go out to shoot and you get to your location, everything is set up, you get to your first frame and suddenly the weather becomes uncooperative. Gusts of wind, God forbid downpouring rain, hail, sleet, snow, or all of the above, there's nothing more frustrating than not having any control over Mother Nature. This happened while shooting this dress, but instead of whining about the strong winds I embraced it while laughing and dancing! So when creating content, there are no excuses, and you should be able to get something out of it if you're a true creator. Obviously, you don't want to shoot a bright-colored sunny outfit in crappy rainy weather, as the aesthetics may not complement well with each other, but then again, how do you know until you try? Like Tim Gunn says, "Make it work!" and just adapt. Any blogger using an excuse of a rainy day for not being able to shoot is just lazy and not as ambitious as they 'claim'. #SorryNotSorry

Of course, I adore floral prints and the color periwinkle. It's probably one of my most favorite colors, ever! And I just love this dress from Zefinka. At only $34, the price is right with the quality of the dress. It's tailored to fit you well along with very cute black tassels at the sleeve to keep with the boho feels of the floral print. I paired the dress with my black Ego boots and black fringe bucket bag from Alles Bags. I think the dress would work well with black open toe heels for the summer or even a pair of light blue espadrilles, but I went with something a little different to show you how much you can style with just one dress! You can even tuck it into jeans or a skirt and make the dress into a floral top! I know that would look very chic as well.

It's going to be hot as hell in the city today so if you're in town, be sure to stay cool and stay hydrated! So so important, especially when the humidity is legit unbearable. Ugh. Happy Monday! I don't know about you fellow East Coasters, but I'm so over winter! How is it still snowing on April 2nd?! The last time I saw abnormal snowing was nearly 14 years ago when I was in Ukraine and it was snowing in the middle of April! We were baffled, but today's forecast is only leaving me exasperated. I just want warmer and sunnier weather, which won't be happening this week. But April showers bring May flowers! And before you know it, we'll be complaining about how hot it is outside. How adorable is this dress?! A multicolor vacation round neck half sleeve shift dress has a backless short ruffle fringe, orange tassels and a gingham print with no stretch. I love the high waist and flounce sleeves, as it brings shape to this type of dress. It's similar to a babydoll dress. I think this would be perfect on the beach or anywhere with a lovely resort. I kept my makeup clean and fresh with only a little added sparkle to my lipgloss. If you haven't checked out my latest beauty faves, I've featured the new lipgloss line from Urban Decay and it's so legit! The shade I'm wearing is called '**Nooner**'. My go-to eyeliner as of late is the gel ones by **Bobbi Brown**. They don't smudge and are easy to apply. Highlighter is also Bobbi Brown, using **Bronze Glow SS16**. Nail polish by Essie, called, '**At the Helm**', which matches perfectly with the orange tassels and wedges.

How to Layer a Romper Differently

Happy Friday! It's been a long and crazy week and I've been working on overdrive... sleeping at the bare minimum but it's all good. I'm always aiming for more and continue to keep trying, which can never be a bad thing, so hopefully sooner rather than later I'll have some news to share with you that I've been dying to show you guys! The waiting game is the hardest part and I don't really want to say that much (because I always jinx it when I do) so just keep those fingers (and perhaps, toes) crossed for me! Today's post is on the easily wearable summer rompers, but because I'm a gal who likes to make the most out of her wardrobe, I wanted to style and layer a romper differently but one that is transitional for the fall season as well! Want to see how you can wear a good pair of boyfriend jeans with a romper? I know it may sound a bit strange at first, but come take a look! It's a bit of a mix with Western style and rocker chic, fun trends I enjoy playing around with.

I've styled this romper this past spring (you can check out the post here), but all on its own. This time I wanted to wear it differently, and though initially, I wanted to go with a long, black maxi skirt, the romper looked a bit too 'poofy' under the skirt. I then tried it with a pair of oversized boyfriend jeans from Vagabond Honey and even though it took me a minute to adjust to what felt like wearing a diaper (LMAO), I got used to it especially after seeing how cute the pairing looked! The added detail that I'm obsessed with? I love how the romper adds a 'patched' layer to the top cut out of the jeans. You can never have enough gingham print, am I right? ;)

Not only is the romper from Zaful, so are these gorgeous deep red tassel earrings! I love how they give any outfit an extra bold statement and because the color palette is quite minimal in this look, I knew these earrings would bring the perfect pop of color. And I love the jeweled detail within the earrings too, that gives it a little more sophistication to them. The sock ankle boots are from Forever 21 - I'm completely smitten with these shoes! They're super well-fitted and that clear chunky low heel makes running around town in them fun and comfy! Lastly, the fringe bucket bag is from Alles Bags. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Happy Monday! How was everyone's weekend? I worked a lot, two photo shoots, running around getting ready for the upcoming week, will be doing some traveling here and there for creating content and to do my first fashion editorial as the head creative director and photographer. I'm really excited to shoot! Also, New York Men's Fashion Week is happening right now, and I'll be attending a few shows/previews and events so be sure to check it all out on my Insta-Stories! Today's post is focused on lightweight jackets/blazers for the office when it's hot outside but freezing inside. The struggle is real! And how gorgeous is this gray, longline trench blazer from Native Youth?! Let me show you the rest of the look!

The Crescent Blazer is a lightweight outerwear piece, ideal for the transition to spring-summer. This longline jacket comes in a classic gray colorway and features functional front pockets. The Crescent coat also comes with an interesting split on the center back hem for an interesting take on summer outerwear. It's perfect for running around while working indoors, especially when they want to crank the A/C on full blast! Chilly vibes, much? I also am crazy about the color, as I do not have a long trench blazer in a gray color, now I need a variety in different colors ha ha!

I styled the jacket with a black bodysuit from Vagabond Honey (has an almost backless view which is oh so breezy in hotter weather) and a pair of mid-rise jeans from Peridot Boutique. Peridot Boutique is located in the lower Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, WA and has some really great, affordable trendy pieces. I love their collection so much, this outfit features many other accessories aside from the jacket and jeans! These ivory chain tassel earrings and super-comfy black loafer slides are also from Peridot Boutique.

My new favorite leather crossbody bag is from Michael Kors. I love its size and shape, polishing up any look, either casual or a little bit fancy, it makes any outfit chicer! To bring a small tinge of luxury, I styled the jeans with an embossed navy blue Gucci belt. It's my go-to belt, I'm sure you've seen it a few times in many outfit posts, but what can I say I'm in love with my belt and it works pretty much with anything! Happy Friday! It has felt good being back at it when it comes to working, but raise your hands if you're loving this short work week though. Keeping it super casual before my next weekend getaway, I wanted to share my favorite kind of summer dress to wear: long, black and comfy. I have an assortment of these types of dresses: from maxi's to mid's, they also range from spaghetti-strapped to off the shoulder. But my new recent favorite black dress is a clothing brand I've been collaborating with from this past year called, Mad-Style. And guess what? The layerable jersey tank shirt is my go-to kind of summer dress. I'm able to move around in it while I run around the city but it's also fine for middle-of-the-day meetings or end of the day events/cocktails/dinner. You could layer it up with a cute cardi or duster jacket on those cooler nights, or accentuate your waist with a statement belt or layer it with a blouse, even with ruffled and/or bell sleeves, it'd work very nicely when transitioning between the seasons and the weather is temperamental. Let's move on to the accessories... :)

The watermelon crossbody bag is also from Mad-Style. I've also shown this bag from a previous post with an off the shoulder striped beach maxi dress and sneakers, but in this outfit, even though I wanted to keep it pretty chill, I wanted to contrast colors with the black all the while maintaining subtle femininity in the style. So to go with the bag, I wore a cute yet dainty pink tassel necklace with gold hoop earrings with a tiny dangle. I love when jewelry keeps a piece minimal and soft, like in this case with the hard black.

And how cool are these round sunglasses also from Mad-Style? I'm obsessed with the side of the frames, and how that extra black chunk really shapes the glasses together overall. Plus, the gold trim makes me feel like a total badass when wearing them, so one can't complain.
